A TRIP OF A LIFETIME

Tom and I will sail on a cruise around the world this coming Saturday, January 4^th.  Even as I write this I can’t believe it.  We booked the cruise last January and it has taken us that long to get ready for it.  The amount of planning you cannot imagine.  First you just think, what clothes do I take – but no it gets down to, how many bottles of deodorant do I pack for four months???

 

That’s right – around the world from January 4 until April 28^th.  We are going on the Holland America Line and the ship is Amsterdam. We took the Amsterdam two years ago from Vancouver, BC to Russia, Korea, and China. We had a wonderful time.

 

We leave from Ft Lauderdale at 11:00pm Saturday night.  Januray 8^th we will be in Costa Rica and then we go through the Panama Canal. On January 11^th we will be in Ecuador and January 14 in Lima, Peru.  The ship stays there for three days and we are taking a three day in-land trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu.
